The First Humanitarian Reality

THE FIRST HUMANITARIAN REALITY

Let us dream, then, as a single human family, as fellow travelers sharing the same flesh, as children of the same earth which is our common home, each of us bringing the richness of his or her beliefs and convictions, each of us with his or her own voice, brothers and sisters all!

We are the lucky ones, the ones born in the wealthy half.

In the other half of the world people struggle to make it through the day.

Getting to know their stories without turning away is possible.

It’s important.

It’s the right thing to do.

Now you can give A Little Help and see the person receive it in real time.

Seven people (and a dog) set off on their way. They are your eyes and your voice as you follow the adventures of this extraordinary journey...

The first-ever Humanitarian Reality show takes us, by camper, from Rome to Hong Kong, following the ups and downs of a family full of surprises and a few unavoidable mishaps.

A collaborative logbook full of unforeseen circumstances, some of them funny, others sad, dramatic or moving, offers a window into the thoughts and feelings of each family member on the road.

Aerial photography of the journey unfolds though breath-taking scenery, winding roads and forgotten places.

To meet people and listen to their stories.

To take A Little Help to someone who can do with it.

From Rome to Hong Kong

On the roads, paths, trails and tracks of Greece, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tibet, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and China.

A Little Economic Help

During our journey we meet people who tell us their stories of daily survival.

In order to provide help in the most critical situations we will immediately start an online fundraising campaign where you can donate a little help.

You can watch us personally hand over your contribution, in real time, live on social media.

You can make a real difference to someone in need by donating your little help.

A little Health Care

There is always a medical doctor in our group

In the case of a health emergency the camper becomes a mobile unit for medical visits.

First aid and specialized medical consultations take place thanks to tele-medicine technology via satellite connections and health partners on the ground.

Rodolfo

An agronomist and an entrepreneur. He works in all sorts of fields, from tourism to show business. He’s also a passionate drone pilot, a video maker, a Red Cross volunteer, and especially… a traveller!

Giulia

A lawyer of the Court of Rome, with expertise in family law. She is the most “fearful” of the group (she says she’s just cautious) but she’s always the first to pack to her bags.

Vicky

She is studying to become a healthcare professional. It is clearly in her make-up to help those in need. A truly special quality for someone so young.

Ugo

The youngest member of the group. He is a secondary school student and has his own YouTube channel. His videos are fun.

Laura

A journalist and scriptwriter for TV programmes. She is the “official narrator” of our shared logbook.

Francesca

A photographer, translator, pilot and Red Cross volunteer. She is also mother to six boys and girls who may even catch up with us during the journey.

Valentina

A dentist. She is the first in a series of volunteer physicians to take part in the expedition. She’s young but brings years of experience in international humanitarian aid.
